Got to bottle the Brown Ale finally. It’s big at 6% ABV, hoppy at 50 IBUs and flavorful, both malt and flowery hop finish courtesy of a dry hopping with 2 oz Willamette. Nice flavor. Cloudy – I forgot my kettle finings – but a good beer for an extract batch. Next batch will be all-grain, it’s worth doing again.

Sorry for the darkness – it’s dark in my basement. This version is likely my best yet – dark, malty, dry. It’s a good beer and I’m closing in on my “perfected” recipe, the right balance of Carafa and Chocolate malt. Next version should be just about there
